As you can tell, the Wii U has a great amount of added detail that isn’t present in the PlayStation 3 lacks. Mostly in the environments and better lighting.

It’s important to remember that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was mainly designed for current generation systems then later expanded to next generation systems. The differences between the two aren’t nearly as potent as many would of hoped. Most of the differences between current generation and next generation is greater graphical fidelity in the environments a far superior foliage system. It’s a nice touch since it allows the plant life a more realistic appearance and movement. Another change some will notice is the improvement in weather and rain effects.
