Nintendo Buys MobiClip

Zelda Informer has found a rather interesting purchase that Nintendo made. Nintendo is now the proud owner of MobiClip. Mobiclip video codecs and DRM technology is unique because of the way it allows a device to display full motion video while using minimal processing power and allowing battery life to be far more effective.

“MobiClip is now a subsidiary of Nintendo. Mobiclip is a Research and Developement center specialized in the field of highly optionized software technologies. We are committed to providing the gaming industry with the latest innovations in middleware.”
