Earthbound is available today on the American and European Wii U eShop. It’s priced at $9.99 in the US, £6.99 in the UK and €9.99 in the rest of Europe. 

Earthbound tells the story of a young boy called Ness, who has psychic powers. After a meteorite lands near his home Onett, Ness encounters an alien called Buzz Buzz who asks him to use his powers to defeat Giygas, an alien from a distant galaxy who has the power to influence people using their own evil nature.

When Nintendo decided to release Earthbound on the Japanese Virtual Console, many European and US gamers fled to its Miiverse forum to ask for a release in their respective countries. This game was only released in Japan and the North America but has never seen a release for European gamers.
