Star Wars: Battlefront Release Date Window
EA’s new Star Wars: Battlefront game is scheduled to launch sometime near summer 2015 and will make use of the Frostbite 3 engine.
EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, during a shareholders meeting today said that the DICE game “will most likely come out around the same time as the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of ’15”.
Which makes sense since this would place the game near the same time as the first entry of the new Star War trilogy. The game is currently in development at DICE’s core Stockholm studio according to exec VP of the EA Games label Patrick Söderlund.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4
