With the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One arriving soon. A debate has been fuming the interests of gamers as there has been claims of which system is more powerful. Microsoft’s director of product planning, Albert Penello, says allegations of a 30 percent advantage for the PlayStation 4 are missing the bigger picture.
On Twitter yesterday, Penello went to Twitter and claimed those comments—” [Xbox One] is plenty capable now and in the future. [Performance]. differences are greatly overstated.”
Penello went into greater detail on NeoGAF. “I’m not dismissing raw performance. I’m stating–as I have stated from the beginning–that the performance delta between the two platforms is not as great as the raw numbers lead the average consumer to believe,” “There are things about our system architecture not fully understood, and there are things about theirs as well, that bring the two systems into balance.”
Claims have been mentioned that in comparison to the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 out preforms it do it its GPU and RAM. But Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb agreed with Penello’s points in a later Reddit post. “We have some of [the] smartest programmers in the world working on Xbox One,” said Hryb. “I am very much looking forward to the next few months (and beyond) as the truth comes out.”
The Xbox One launches on November 22, while the PS4 launches on November 15.

The vast majority of the comments GAH receives is spam. I choose to filter through them everyday. It can’t be helped, at least to my knowledge. In my perspective, it means that those who choose to spam our sites find it popular enough to do so. When I got my first spam message, I was please. I have no control over that and let wordpress handle it. I do have a suggestion though. When you get an email notification, you could see if there’s an option to disable it in the email message.
