It has been revealed that the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros will be running at 60 frames per second regardless of weather or not you play the game in stereoscopic 3D. With all the action and constant action, flash having to render the image on the screen twice for each eye to create the 3D effect. This is quite impressive. As many of you are aware, the 3DS version characters have a cell-shaded appearance and anyone who knows about that graphical technique, knows that its far less taxing on the hardware than other forms of graphics.
Some of the assist trophies and Pokemon will be running at 30 frames per second. This is to help maintain a smooth frame rather through out the given match. This does not apply to the fighters you’ll be playing as that will be running at a baby soft 60 frames per second.
