Sales of Xbox One More Then Double

Microsoft made the bold move to sell the system without the Kinect. In doing so, allowed the Microsoft to drop the cost of their system to $399, the same price as its rival console, the PlayStation 4.

Many felt that such a move was needed to help push the system and give it an equal chance. Luckily, by dropping the Kinect was the right move and as a result, Microsoft revealed have more than doubled the sales of the Xbox One from May to June. “Since the new Xbox One offering launched on June 9th,” an Xbox Wire release reads, “we’ve seen sales of Xbox One more than double in the US, compared to sales in May, and solid growth in Xbox 360 sales.”
