Rockstar: Grand Theft Auto V Sets New Record With Development Budget

According to a report from a Scottish newspaper, The Scotsman, Grand Theft Auto V is the most expensive video game ever created. It’s reported that the total budget is 170 million pounds or roughly $266,000,000 USD / £201,974,066.00 Euros / ₱11797100000.00 PHP.  You don’t have to be smart to know that’s a lot of money to produce a single video games and even surpassing many critically acclaimed movies. This figure also includes the marketing budget.

Grand Theft Auto V which is roughly 3 times the cost of Grand Theft Auto IV with its development cost being $100,000,00 USD.
