WayForward: Shantae – Half-Genie Hero Close To Kickstarter Goal
Our Half-Genie hero, Shantae looks like it’ll reach it’s $400,000 goal, courtesy of WayForward’s dedicated fans. At the time of this posting, they’re pledge total have reached $384,931. The Shantae series started on the GameBoy Color (2002), and was later released on the Nintendo eShop Virtual Console in 2013. The next game in the series titled, Shantae: Risky’s Revenge was released on the DSiWare service in 2010. Both games can be downloaded now on the Nintendo 3DS.
