Welcome to Gaming After Hours: A freelancing website where future journalist express themselves and get noticed.
I was in search for some inspiration that really moved me in some radical fashion. Yes I am aware that Gaming After Hours hasn’t written anything for a considerable amount of time and instead of writing mindlessly without purpose or direction. I decided to take a long a break and hope to find something inspirational to get me back into writing. After all, I believe that the people who come here aren’t simply visiting Gaming After Hours for news related gaming, but are in search for inspiration and reason.
Writing is by far more than simple words on a page of a book, in this case a screen. Writing must have purpose and a sense of direction for it to be worthwhile. Not all the articles in Gaming After Hours have been written as such, but the ones that do (I believe) are relatable on more than one single level.
This article isn’t related to gaming, but it will be a starting point as the catalysts for more thought provoking articles in the future, even if this article doesn’t relate directly to the subject of this site.
Now, I’d like to bring your attention my inspiration, Disney’s Oscar-nominated hit song “Frozen, – Let It Go” multi-Language” video where it took an already amazing musical piece and dramatically made it more touching than the original because it successfully married 25 languages into one song.
When I first heard it, I felt empowered and a strong sense of unity that gave me a feeling of belonging. Language is amazing and this version of Let It Go celebrates full heartedly. So regardless of where your origin maybe, please know that language is a tool that’s used to unite people from all walks of life.
Since I’m Korean, I thought it would be appropriate to not only provide said readers to the English version but also the Korean version as well. I hope this moves you as much as it has moved me. [Note: I wasn’t sure if this should be labeled under Classic Tunes in the subject since it doesn’t relate to gaming but I did place it under that category so this article can be easily found.]
