Microsoft does Veteran fans a Great Service With Halo: Master Chief Collection

Microsoft and 343 Industries revealed Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One at their E3 2014 Press Conference.

Set to release November 11, 2014, the Master Chief collection will introduce the long awaited Halo 2 Anniversary Edition. It will include updated visuals made possible by the game’s new engine, the original multiplayer maps which includes all DLC, and new cutscenes that tie into Halo 5.

The collection will also include other games in the series from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, and up-scaled versions of Halo 3 and 4, which will now support a 1080p resolution and a steady 60fps. Custom playlists can also be created using maps across all the games included in the package.

As a surprise, 343 revealed a Halo 5 multiplayer beta that will be made available to purchasers of the game.
