Bayonetta 2 receiving five-disc soundtrack from Sega

Sega will be releasing Bayonetta 2 Original Soundtrack on October 29. This will be distributed by Sega’s in-house label Wavemaster and will feature all the music from the game.

Masami Ueda is the lead composer in Platinum Games, his collaborative efforts have heavily influenced the musical direction of many of the company’s projects. Many gamers should be familar with this past efforts, many are seeded in our minds. Things like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Okami and Bayonetta are just a few of his past works.

The Bayonetta 2 soundtrack is priced at 5,142 JPY (approximately $50 USD) but it spans a beefy five discs collection. The track listing hasn’t been announced.

Bayonetta 2 is scheduled to be released September 20, 2014 in Japan. The North American and Europe release date will be released sometime on October 2014 .
