I remember this hilarious commercial and recall being quite surprised when I found out that it was on the Nintendo 64. This has to be one of the most outrageous video game commercial that I can remember. It was quite shocking and sexual. I couldn’t believe to see the N64 logo at the end. The developers at Rare really knew how to push the N64 hardware as it reached the end of it’s life cycle. With real-time lighting, fully voice acting and parodies of classic ’90 movie references like The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan and The Godfather, just to name a few.
Conkers Bad Fur Day was released on March 5, 2001 in North America, and on April 6, 2001 in Europe.
Fun fact:
Conker’s Bad Fur Day was a huge game back in the day consisting of 512 megabits and was one of the very few games that used the Nintendo 64 high density cart storage.
Enjoy
