Nintendo of Japan has confirmed that, “The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD,” will require 2.6 GB of space or more if you choose to download it from the Wii U eShop. If space is an issue, you have the option to use a USB storage device. It is highly recommended that all external USB devices have their own power source otherwise you may have some complications. You’ll also have the option to play it with the Wii U Pro Controller and play in 1080p. Disappointingly, there is no option to use a Wii Remote and Nunchuck or Classic Controller Pro.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released in Japan on September 26th, and it arrives October in Europe and North America.

Please keep in mind that the even though 2.6GB is considered small by today’s standards and more in the realm of a downloadable game, it is a sizable download when compared to the original.
