National StreetPass Weekend

For those who can’t wait for National StreetPass Weekend should open your Nintendo 3DS if you’ve visited any of the Nintendo Zones. It seems that Nintendo decided to start the celebration a day early. As many of you are aware of, this gives people to get StreetPass data from anywhere around the America and Canada that they’d never be able to acquire without travel. Under normal circumstances, it would require a person to physically walk-by each other.

During wonderful National StreetPass Weekend, 3DS owners can visit a Nintendo Zone location  — you can find one near you using Nintendo’s website for details. Some of the areas where you can visit Nintendo Zones are:

  • Best Buy
  • Boingo
  • Westfield
  • Bell
  • Simon Mall
  • McDonalds
  • Future Shop
  • AT&T Hot Spot

As Gaming After Hours has explained, you can access the Nintendo Zone right from the comfort of your home by following these easy steps.

Just follow these easy steps or look at your Nintendo 3DS owner’s manual for details.

  • rename your WiFi or guest network to (attwifi) and make it so its unsecure. (Make sure your Nintendo 3DS wireless switch is on) This might be all you need to do.
  • If your system doesn’t connect to Nintendo Zone after a minute, go to your (System Settings)
  • go to your systems (Internet Settings)
  • press on your (Connection Settings) buttons
  • choose (New Connection)
  • follow the Nintendo 3DS Wizard

And then you’ll be all done. If your still having trouble connecting, try turning off your Nintendo 3DS and then turn it back on. If you are in other parts of world other then the United States, please let us know if this works in the comments below.
