WayForward Shantae and the Pirates Curse release date revealed

Get ready as WayForward’s “Shantae and the Pirates Curse” will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS eShop on October 23rd in the United States for $19.99. This is a separate title and not to be confused with Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.

This will mark the half-genie’s third adventure and also be the first time Shantae’s first official outing on the Nintendo 3DS.  Shantae’s first adventure was released on the the Game Boy Color back in June of 2002 and her next venture was called Shantae: Risky’s Revenge which was released eight years later after the original on September 2010. This title was made as a stand-alone downloadable Nintendo DSiWare title rather than episodic. Both past adventures can are available on the Nintendo eShop if you’re so inclined.
