Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. Originally, this monsterous series started life on the PlayStation 2 and since then, has grown into one of Capcom‘s flagship franchise. Releasing many versions on many systems throughout its 10 year legacy.
Its expanded beyond its original vision such as toys, decals, clothing, and cosplay. To mark the franchise 10 year run this year and its Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Japan release, Capcom will have a golden Felyne statue.
The Felyne statue will be wearing the Rathalos armor-wearing Felyne’s gold status weighs 120g (0.26 lbs) and is made in 24 karat gold. It measures at a height of 90 mm (3.5 inches,) width of 55 mm (2.16 inches,) and a depth of 125 mm (5 inches). Plus, in keeping with the anniversary number only 10 statues will be made, with potential buyers paying 2,990,000 yen plus tax (approximately £17,318 / $29,152).
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is slated for release in Japan on October 11, 2014, and in the West in early 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
