Super Smash Bros for 3DS Shows New Details on Character Outlines

Smash creator, Masahiro Sakurai, explains that you can customize the look of the character outline which “gives off a different impression in 3D.”

Obviously it’s hard to know how the 3D will affect the overall look of the game when compared played in 3D verses playing it 2D. But it’s nice to know that we have an option to change it in the 3DS version.

Sakurai explained:

Pic of the day. Here’s a comparison of characters with and without their outlines on the 3DS version. They also give off a different impression in 3D, so customize the look however you like.
