The Bungie multiplatform game will soon arrive on many of major systems, with the exception of Nintendo systems. Luckily PlayStation players will have the ability to play the game using their Vitas for portable Destiny fun albeit streaming via PlayStation console.

Bungie has optimized the game’s controls for the Vita in multiple ways such as using the touch screen summon your Ghost, throw grenades and melee attack. Each part of the screen is separated by each individual abilities which function as additional button presses.

“One of the things we noticed during the week of the Destiny Beta was that a lot of PS4 owners were streaming Destiny to their PS Vitas via Remote Play,” The official post on the PlayStation Blog stated. “In fact, Destiny was the No. 1 title for Remote Play during the entire month of July, racking up the most Remote Play sessions of any PS4 title.”
